Managerial Skills II

Degree program: MSc Management

This module enhances the development of managerial skills by offering a predefinded combination of two courses with the following key related topics:

• Intercultural Skills | Doing Business in Europe

• Negotiations | Conflict Management

• Project Management | Quality Management

• SAP Laboratory | Programming

The key topics intercultural skills, negotiations, doing business in Europe, and conflict management focus on developing the students’ intercultural competence and interpersonal skills. The students learn to communicate with people of various cultural backgrounds, to handle and resolve interpersonal conflicts, to apply negotiation techniques, and to deal with the cultural intricacies of doing business in Europe.

With the key topics programming, project management, quality management, and SAP Laboratory students focus on how to develop software, how to effectively manage projects or quality, and how to apply SAP to various business processes.

Students choose one predefined pair of the courses and acquire 2.5 ECTS per course (in total 5 ECTS for the module). The single courses are not interchangeable,
