Gözde Gündüzoglu is a Research Analyst at the Center for Humanitarian Logistics and Regional Development (CHORD). At CHORD, Gözde is actively involved in research projects centered around evaluating the impact of the first Humanitarian Logistics Cooperative as well as the Logistics Response Team Training by the Logistics Cluster.
Graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Gözde specialized in Humanitarian Supply Chains. For her thesis project, she partnered with the German Red Cross, exploring the cost-effectiveness of aid strategies across various disaster scenarios. This academic experience equipped her with invaluable insights into the field of preparedness and Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) mechanisms.
In 2023, Gözde joined the Global Logistics Cluster, where she played a key role in co-facilitating immersive simulation exercises like the Logistics Response Team Training and gear.UP. She also supported the successful launch of the Logistics Capacity Assessment pilot workshop at the United Nations Humanitarian Depot. Gözde has implemented online training initiatives, including the Introduction of Green Logistics Course.
Driven by her passion for bridging academia with real-world challenges, Gözde seeks to leverage her expertise in training facilitation and design to make meaningful contributions to humanitarian supply chains. With a keen interest in the intersection of Health and Logistics, she aims to enrich training programs by integrating Supply Chain modules into Public Health initiatives in the future.
