Independent Studies

Degree programs: MSc Logistics & SCM, MSc Management, MSc Business Analytics and Data Science

This module consists of an academic or entrepreneurial project work. The purpose of this module is to offer an individual learning experience for excellent students (autonomous learning). The project can either be academic or entrepreneurial.

It deepens topics/knowledge from other modules or builds on prior studies or working experience.

Academic projects will explore a particular topic in a depth usually not covered in classroom lectures. They can be linked to an ongoing research project from faculty and thus provide an impression into academic work.

Entrepreneurial projects consist of a development of a business idea. This can include market research, product/software development, tests and mockups. As an output of an entrepreneurial project the student needs to develop a formal business plan.
