Globalization and Business Management

This course seeks to raise students' awareness for the complexities of the international environment in which businesses operate today. We will focus on the cultural, economic, political and legal factors impacting business performance in an increasingly global and volatile marketplace. Topics include culture, the influence of macro factors, strategy fundamentals, motivation, leadership and decision making, among others. Students are exposed to the theoretical principles behind international management as well as empirical evidence of operating a business on a global scale.
