Empirical Research Methods

Degree program: BSc Business Administration

This module is part of the profiles "International Management" and "Sustainable Management". It provides students with the necessary statistic skills for first empirical evaluations and is a basis for future courses. The lecture shows how to collect data, how to develop theories and hypotheses as well as how to test the hypotheses with the help of statistical methods. This allows students to better assess the validity of findings in publications or studies presented in practice. In addition, they get prepared for their own empirical study in their Bachelor thesis.
