Analytical Methods in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

This module provides students with an introduction to analytical

methods that can be used to make better decisions. Analytical

methods including mathematical modelling and optimization, give

executives the power to make more effective decisions and build

more productive systems. This course aims at introducing students

into modelling of decision problems and the use of quantitative

methods and techniques for effective decision-making, e.g.

• Linear programming

• Integer programming

• Network flow problems
