KLU Movie Night 2026: A Night to Remember

With all 300 tickets sold, the auditorium was packed — and the excitement was already palpable on the red carpet and in the foyer an hour before the doors opened. At KLU’s 11th Movie Night on October 2, students from the Leadership and Organizational Behavior module presented the results of their work in the form of short films, celebrating one of the first major milestones of their university journey just a few weeks into the semester.

A group of people stand and cheer enthusiastically in a crowded lecture hall.

The evening was filled with positive energy, creativity, and plenty of glamor — Hollywood would have felt right at home. Professors Niels Van Quaquebeke, Christian Tröster, and Brooke Gazdag guided the audience through the evening, serving as hosts, moderators, and jury members all at once. They presented the coveted KLU “Oscars” in ten categories:

Leadership, teamwork, values, motivation, stress, and emotions at work were brought to life by the student teams in highly entertaining and creative ways. At the same time, these themes were reflected in the students’ own collaborative experience, as they worked in diverse teams, navigated different perspectives, and made decisions together.

Organized by students for students, Movie Night once again showcased the remarkable commitment, creativity, and sense of community that characterize student life at KLU.

And, of course, KLU students know how to celebrate: the evening ended with a spectacular after-show party with DJ Professor Jörn Meissner at the turntables.

A night to remember.
