About TEDx
In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxKLU Hamburg, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxKLU Hamburg event, live speakers will spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
TEDxKLU Hamburg 2026: Finding Your Spark in a World on Fire
In an era marked by rapid change, disruption, and uncertainty, it's easy to feel overwhelmed or disconnected from what truly matters. Yet within this turbulence lies a powerful opportunity: to reconnect with the ideas, questions, and values that ignite us.
This theme invites talks that explore how embracing our individual spark—our unique drive, insight, or curiosity—can illuminate paths toward personal growth, social connection, and collective resilience. We're looking for big ideas that are grounded in real-world impact and enriched by personal stories—ideas that challenge the status quo, provoke new ways of thinking, and inspire meaningful action.
From technology to art, science to social innovation, we invite speakers to explore how rediscovering what fuels us as individuals can contribute to a brighter, more connected world.
