FIBAA Premium Seal for KLU BA Program and FIBAA Accreditation for Master Business Analytics & Data Science

KLU's Business Administration program has once again been awarded the renowned FIBAA Premium Seal. The new Master's program “Business Analytics and Data Science”, which will be offered for the first time next year, has also already been accredited by FIBAA. Following the FIBAA Premium Seal for the MBA program in January, this is already the second distinction for KLU programs this year. The seal underlines the high quality and sustainable excellence of KLU's degree programs, which are convincing in all assessment categories.

FIBAA awards the premium seal to programs that meet at least 65 percent of the extensive evaluation criteria above average. Dr. Birger Hendriks, former Managing Director of FIBAA: “I am delighted to be here for the second time in twelve months. Of course, it clearly speaks for the university that you can award premium seals almost on a subscription basis.”

The Business Administration course scored highly in all categories, particularly in terms of its structure and didactics. KLU's excellent facilities and academic environment were also highlighted. Students are comprehensively prepared for a career in international management. The program offers a business core with specialization profiles in Digital Management, International Management, Supply Chain Management and Sustainable Management, so that graduates are optimally prepared for a global business environment. Students benefit from a KLU’s hands-on approach and focus on real-world applicability, its international environment and excellent career opportunities.

The new Master's degree program in Business Analytics and Data Science (Application possible as of Nov. 1st) with academic director Prof. Asvin Goel was also accredited by FIBAA without any conditions. The new Master's degree program is geared towards the growing demand for specialists in the field of data science and business analytics across all sectors. With the new Master's program, KLU underlines its strong practical orientation and innovative strength and offers students an ideal environment to apply and test their new skills thanks to its expertise in logistics and supply chain management.

Strong team performance

Prof. Alexander Himme, Dean of Programs at KLU, thanked Dr. Hendriks and FIBAA for the many years of constructive cooperation and emphasized that quality management plays a decisive role in the continuous development of the programs. “The accreditation of the Bachelor's and the new Master's program are the result of a strong team effort by the administration, faculty and students.”
