Tobias Michael Palm started his PhD program at Kühne Logistics University in September 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marianne Jahre.
Tobias joined Kühne Logistics University in April 2026 as a Research Associate in Prof. Dr. Hanno Friedrich's KRITIS Group. As a researcher, he mainly works with qualitative methods such as interviews and case-study-research. He is particularly interested in how organizations cope with shock events.
Before joining KLU, Tobias was self-employed as a project manager in Hamburg. Before that, he spent two years as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group in the Hamburg office and two years as Fellow with Teach First Deutschland at a disadvantaged school in Hamburg. Earlier, he studied economics, international management, and law at the University of St. Gallen, the London School of Economics, and Bucerius Law School.
