Jonah Blits started his PhD program at Kühne Logistics University in September 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alexa Burmester and Prof. Dr. Sandra Transchel. His research focuses on the impact of reusable packaging on B2C supply chains.
Prior to graduating from KLU with a Master of Science in Management and a focus on Digital Transformation, he completed a dual bachelor’s program in Supply Chain Management where he specialized on the optimization and model shift of transport concepts.
In addition to his academic background, he was able to obtain more than four years of industry experience in consulting and implementation roles. Jonah worked for multinational supply chain companies on innovative projects to integrate digital solutions and optimize processes to drive sustainable change. These projects allowed him to engage in cross-cultural exchanges at 11 different locations spread across five European countries.
