Ardalan Irani joined Kühne Logistics University in October 2024 as a Research Associate for the project Supply forecasting and purity estimation in copper industry collaborating with Aurubis. Irani holds a master’s degree in supply chain management from Constructor University Bremen and a master’s degree in systems engineering from University of Tehran. He cardinally focused on renewable energy systems and his thesis was about the optimal design of a hybrid renewable energy system that is able to fulfil the urban power and water demand through desalinating seawater.
Next to that, with his many years of practical experience as supply chain manager, Ardalan has gained valuable experiences in analyzing supply chain disruptions and strategic planning in construction and machinery industry.
Ardalan Irani’s research interests entail AI and machine learning in supply chain management, next to that modeling, simulation, and optimization of complex systems as well as demand planning by exact forecasting.
