A concise introduction to key differences in hiring cycles, application materials, interview norms, language expectations, and early-career opportunities.
6:30PM - Employer Panel: Hiring Talent Across Germany & LATAM
Employers with Germany–Latin America links will share what makes applications stand out, which skills are currently in demand, and how language and cultural expectations shape recruitment.
7:10PM - Break
7:20PM - Alumni Panel: Success Stories - Two Paths
Parallel alumni sessions will explore two career routes: returning to Latin America after studying in Germany, and building a career in Germany or Europe as LATAM talent.
7:50PM - Rotating Small-Group Breakouts
Participants can join focused rooms with employers, alumni, and Career Services to ask personal questions and make meaningful connections.
8:20PM - Entering the German Labor Market: Visas, Legal, Tax & Working Norms
A practical session covering key topics such as residence permits, tax ID, social security, and when to seek legal advice.
