U-Multirank: KLU Once More Top in International Orientation

Kühne Logistics University (KLU) has once again achieved excellent results in the latest poll from U-Multirank. KLU is one of four institutions among the 25 top-performing universities globally in the indicator Student Mobility. In addition, KLU is among the 15 German universities that received the top score (A) in more than ten indicators, moving from 10 A’s in 2020 to now having 12 in 2021.

“We are tremendously happy and proud to have once again exceled as we did in 2020 and received an outstanding score this year,” says University President Prof. Dr. Thomas Strothotte. “In the past year and a half, the COVID-19 crisis has had a strong impact on university operations and especially on international exchange. It has been thanks to an enormous team effort that we were nevertheless able to maintain the high level of satisfaction in the area of student mobility.”

    U-Multirank encompasses more than 1,900 universities from 97 countries around the world. The data from the ranking includes surveys completed by more than 100,000 students worldwide as well as information supplied by the institutions, data from international bibliometrics, and patent and national databases. The universities are evaluated on the basis of more than 30 indicators in the following areas: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation, and regional engagement. Based on this data, users can make individual comparisons of universities. U-Multirank is a user-driven, multidimensional ranking of worldwide universities and colleges, covering many aspects of higher education. The independent service has received seed money from the European Union.
