We were delighted to welcome Maryam Blumenthal, Senator for Science, Research and Equality of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, to Kuehne Logistics University for the very first time on our Campus Hamburg.

Together with KLU President Andreas Kaplan and Immo Schmidt-Jortzig, Executive Director of Administration, Maryam Blumenthal exchanged perspectives on the role of universities in strengthening Hamburg as a science hub, the importance of international talent, and how logistics and management education contribute to resilient and sustainable economies.

The visit highlighted the shared commitment to connecting academic excellence with societal impact. We thank Senator Blumenthal for the open and constructive dialogue and look forward to continuing the exchange in support of Hamburg’s academic and economic future.
