International Orientation, Career Orientation, Facilities
The smooth integration of the semester abroad into KLU’s curriculum resulted in the university receiving excellent reviews in the category International Orientation. KLU President Professor Dr. Thomas Strotthotte commented, “The programs on offer for studying business administration in Germany are extremely complex, and prospective students may rightly ask themselves, ‘Which institution will provide me with the best conditions for completing my studies?’ This is where the CHE Ranking can provide direction. On the basis of their solid methodology, the Center for Higher Education located in Gütersloh, Germany has yet again awarded our young institution with top ratings. These ratings are given by those who know best, namely our students. I cannot tell you enough how happy I am about this result!”
Prepared for Any Situation Despite Corona
“As a small institution with a friendly atmosphere we are able to support each of our students on an individual basis from day one of their studies until they start their careers. This is precisely why we have been able to react so quickly to the challenges brought on by the coronavirus crisis,” offered Professor Dr. Christian Barrot, Dean of Programs. As of March, all courses have been taught online, and students have been able to take exams and fulfill all of their requirements without needing to extend the duration of their studies. “Also, concerning the upcoming semester, we are prepared for any situation, always keeping the best possible solution for our students at the forefront. This security is deeply appreciated by our students and their families as it provides some stability they can rely on during these times of uncertainty,” added Professor Dr. Barrot.
