KLU Career Connect 2026: Linking Talent and Top Employers
An opportunity to connect with a dream company and leave with a dozen new contacts – this is exactly what KLU Career Connect offers. The annual event at Kühne Logistics University was hosted on March 25th at KLU’s Hamburg Campus, and proved once again to be a dynamic platform where students and industry professionals come together to explore career opportunities, from internships and working student positions to long-term career paths.

Building on the success of previous events, Career Connect 2026 brought together a wide range of companies and experts representing diverse sectors including aviation, consulting, healthcare, logistics, and more. Over 250 students and 30 alumni showed up with a clear intention: turn their aspirations into tangible professional relations.
The event began with an informal networking lunch, providing company representatives with the opportunity to connect before meeting the students. This was followed by the Company Slam, a fast-pace pitch format where participating organizations introduced themselves, offering students concise insights into their work, culture, and opportunities.
In the late afternoon, the foyer transformed into a networking space. Company booths provided an opportunity for more personal, one-on-one conversations, where students could learn about specific roles, expectations, training programs and career paths. Accompanied by drinks, appetizers, and sweets, the relaxed atmosphere encouraged open dialogue and helped maintain the lively spirit throughout the event.
Voices from the event
“It’s great to connect with so many people and to see so many students interested in our company. It’s very well organized and everyone is very motivated,” said Rieke Wolff, Talent Acquisition at Hapag-Lloyd.
“I joined for the second time now, and it’s always very nicely organized. The students are highly proactive and engaging – that is unique about KLU, and I am looking forward to hearing from them later,” added Jonas Krüger from 4flow.
“I did not expect such a warm welcome. When you have a one-on-one conversation at a booth, it doesn’t feel like an interview. It feels like people are not testing you, but rather offering advice and support,” shared KLU student Karyna Sarukhanian.
