Course Objective

Are you a PhD student eager to enhance your research in data science? This PhD course is designed to help you master the methodology of algorithm-based research. You’ll explore foundational concepts from the philosophy of science as well as methodology and learn how to design, evaluate, and present your work. No prior background knowledge is required, and the course will guide you through common challenges in data science research, offering practical strategies for ensuring scientific rigor and clear communication of your contributions. By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped to frame your work systematically, tackle validity concerns, and present your research effectively. Join us to gain insights that will elevate your data science research!

Grades and ECTS

A certificate over 5 ECTS will be provided to each participant who attended all days of the course.

Cost

The course fee is €320. Participants are required to arrange their own travel and accommodation.
