KLU and HCMUT developing a joint Master's program in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management

KLU continues to expand its strategic partnership with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT). On October 15th, a delegation led by KLU president Prof. Andreas Kaplan and HCMUT president Prof. Dr. Mai Thanh Phong, along with leaders of various departments, signed a detailed contract for the development, management, and operation of a joint Master’s program in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

This May, KLU and HCMUT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), followed by a cooperation agreement in August to develop a joint Master’s program, with enrollment starting in 2025. "This cooperation is an exciting next step for us. Both HCMUT and KLU share the goal of developing talent with an operations mindset - a fundamental skill in logistics and supply chain management - to meet the high demand in Southeast Asia," noted KLU President Kaplan.

The planned program combines KLU's expertise in logistics with HCMUT's regional knowledge to promote the training of young professionals in the fields of logistics and supply chain management in Southeast Asia.

KLU VIETNAM CAMPUS

These activitiesare part of KLU’s journey to start a new campus in Vietnam’s vibrant business and logistics hub Ho Chi Minh City. Founded in 2010, KLU’s vision is to provide the world’s best leadership and management education, firmly rooted in an operations mindset. We strongly believe that effective leadership anywhere in the world requires a deep understanding of logistics, operations, and supply chain management.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Southeast Asia’s logistics hub, KLU aims to advance these fields through both research and teaching. Kühne Logistics University intends to offer dedicated programs in logistics and supply chain management at both the bachelor's and master’s levels, as well as provide executive education and lifelong learning opportunities.
