Management Science and Operations Research

Degree program: MSc Business Analytics and Data Science

This module covers selected topics of management science and operations research concerning the optimization of complex decision problems. Students will learn about combinatorial optimization problems and various exact, heuristic, and meta-heuristic approaches for solving them. Through case studies and practical exercises, students will gain a deep understanding of optimization algorithms used to address business challenges. They will learn to identify appropriate solution approaches, implement and evaluate them.
