TEDx returns to KLU: “Finding your spark in a world on fire”

On Saturday, 21 February 2026, 12:00h, Kühne Logistics University (KLU) will once again host TEDxKLU Hamburg, bringing the globally renowned TEDx format back to campus. Under the theme Finding your spark in a world on fire, the event will take place in the Golden Egg, the main auditorium at KLU in Hamburg, where the attendees will gather for an afternoon of bold ideas, personal perspectives, and conversations that matter. The message is clear: in times of complexity and uncertainty, reconnecting with what truly drives us can become a powerful catalyst for change.

Building on the momentum of its sold-out first edition, TEDxKLU Hamburg 2026 brings together an international and interdisciplinary lineup of speakers who will explore topics ranging from sustainability and neurodivergence to leadership, data, and personal growth. True to TEDx guidelines, the independently organized event offers a carefully curated program of short talks designed to spark reflection and dialogue, on stage and far beyond the auditorium.

“In a world of 8 billion people, feeling like your internal fire is overwhelmed is a natural experience,” says Jason Duncan, Organizing Co-Lead of TEDxKLU Hamburg. “We chose the theme Finding your spark in a world on fire to encourage a perspective shift. This event is about finding the creative force that can evolve ourselves and our communities.”

His fellow Co-Lead Dayna Sendzik adds: “TEDxKLU Hamburg is not just about listening to talks. It’s about creating a space where people feel challenged, connected, and seen. We intentionally curated speakers from diverse perspectives, united by the courage to question what we consider ‘normal’ and imagine new possibilities.”

How TEDx aligns with KLU values and vision

KLU is proud to host this event for the second time. The event, independently organized by a team of 30+ KLU students, facilitates the students put into practice their skills and their Operations Mindset. The event aligns with KLU’s role as an enabler of leadership and intellectual exchange. Students transform academic knowledge into action by organizing an international event that attracts leaders of thought and invites critical reflection on today’s most pressing questions. In doing so, KLU advances its vision of educating future leaders who can structure complexity, take initiative, and shape dialogue across disciplines. The campus becomes a place where leadership is practiced openly and ideas are turned into momentum.

The perfect inspiration for ignited souls: Tickets and attendance

Due to the venue’s limited capacity, tickets are expected to sell out quickly. Remaining tickets can be purchased via the official TEDxKLU Hamburg website.

With its mix of visionary ideas, critical reflection, and a vibrant on-campus atmosphere, TEDxKLU Hamburg 2026 promises an afternoon that resonates long after the final talk. Following the original TEDx motto “Ideas worth spreading”, the upcoming edition at KLU is again a unique opportunity to be inspired – and to discover your own spark.
