KLU PhD Students at the Hamburg Half Marathon

From the desk to the running track. The three KLU PhD candidates Daan van Beek, Tim Schlaich and Johannes Stark swapped their computer keyboards for running shoes on September 17th and took part in the Hamburg Half Marathon 2023 as Team KLU.

Daan van Beek, who finished in 1:46:28 h and thus ended up in 320th place out of a total of 1,210 participants: ""I really enjoyed participating in the half marathon. It was a great way to spend the year's last summery Sunday with two of my fellow KLU PhD students!"

Tim Schlaich finished 391st in 1:49:53 and Johannes Stark 462nd in 1:52:44.

KLU supported the start and congratulates all three on a great performance!
