KLU at the CHEFTREFF Future Leader Summit: What leaders should know about emotions
As a partner of Europe’s largest career and networking event, the Future Leader Summit on April 10 and 11, Kühne Logistics University (KLU) will contribute a masterclass on emotional management. In addition, KLU will host an exclusive side event for participants of the Future Leader Summit. The organizers of CHEFTREFF expect 10,000 students and young professionals from Germany and across Europe. They will gather at the Congress Center Hamburg to meet companies, start-ups, and decision-makers from business, technology, and academia.

Among the speakers at the Future Leader Summit are Tarek Müller (Co-Founder & CEO of About You), Katrin Suder (Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of DHL Group), and Richard David Precht (bestselling author and philosopher).
KLU is participating for the third consecutive year. KLU President Prof. Dr. Andreas Kaplan: “The requirements for leaders are changing rapidly. This makes it all the more important to prepare young talents early on for responsibility, collaboration, and international perspectives.”
Emotions and Leadership – Masterclass
The masterclass with Prisca Brosi, Professor of Human Resource Management and expert in diversity management and leadership at KLU, focuses on emotional management. Prof. Brosi combines current research with insights from business practice. “We all have emotions, also in the workplace – and we can learn to manage and use them consciously,” says Prisca Brosi. “They are a key factor in healthy organizations that are able to adapt and evolve.”
The masterclass will take place on Friday from 2:15 to 3:15 PM.
KLU Hosts Exclusive Side Event at the Future Leader Summit
As part of the Future Leader Summit, KLU is organizing an exclusive side event for participants. The keynote will be delivered by Flemming Pinck under the title “NEVER START STOPPING | NEVER STOP STARTING”.
Flemming Pinck is a highly creative entrepreneur who has been involved in a wide range of projects, initiatives, and companies over the past 20 years. These include an app company that failed, the remarkable story of the Hamburger Goldkehlchen, and ventures such as Inferno Ragazzi and TRACC Ball. In his keynote, he will speak about his drive, key moments of failure, and his core message: try things out, take responsibility, and take action.
At its booth, KLU will provide information about its academic programs – from bachelor’s and master’s degrees to MBA and PhD programs as well as executive education. The focus is on management, data science and business analytics, supply chain management, and global logistics.
Visitors can meet the KLU team at the booth, ask questions about study opportunities, and learn more about international career perspectives.
