Søren Jeppesen started his PhD program at Kühne Logistics University in January 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sandra Transchel. His main research area focuses on designing reverse logistics for reusable packaging in the fast-food industry.
Prior to earning a Master of Science in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management from KLU, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Aarhus University with a focus on econometrics and data science.
In addition to his academic background, he worked as a researcher at a large German consultancy that specialises in logistics and wrote his master’s thesis in collaboration with them on multi-echelon inventory optimisation. Through this work, he deepened his knowledge of Python and low-code solutions to support different departments across the company.
