Veronica Schulz is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Hapag-Lloyd Center for Shipping and Global Logistics (CSGL) at Kühne Logistics University. Veronica completed her PhD at the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies in 2025, following a Master of Commerce (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) from the University of Sydney Business School and a Bachelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Her research interests sit at the intersection of maritime and port systems, sustainability, and the circular economy.
During her studies, Veronica received various awards, including the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship, the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies Prize, and the University of Sydney Business School Post-Submission Award. Veronica was also the runner-up in the University of Sydney’s 2024 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) final.
In addition to her studies, she previously served as a Senior Policy Officer in maritime decarbonisation at the Australian Government Department of Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts.
