Program
The Supply Chain Management Program is a modular executive education program that consists of four modules. The modules are conducted over a period of approximately one year and each module comprises five days of lectures. The modules focus on the four core components of knowledge that a supply chain professional needs: 1) supply chain design, 2) supply chain construction, 3) supply chain operations, and 4) supply chain improvement.
The first module covers those processes that allow supply chain managers to set up and position their services. To deliver supply chain services requires the supply chain manager to build services that their “customers” will use and that add value (Module 2). Once supply chains have been designed and built, the manager must operate the service to the benefit of users (Module 3). All operations require improvement, and supply chain activities are no exception. Thus the last module (Module 4) addresses the improvement of supply chain services.
Learning Outcomes and Benefits for your Company
The program is designed for professionals and junior to mid-level managers in the supply chain and logistics area and will help them to deepen their skills in relevant areas of supply chain management and logistics. The participants may choose to complete the entire program or attend single modules only. Successful completion of each module prepares the supply chain professional for advancement within the particular areas covered by the module and results in certification of the individual in that area of competence. Completion of all four modules results in the certification of the individual as a professional supply chain manager.
