Information on the rights of data subjects
Data subjects have the right to obtain confirmation from the responsible party as to whether personal data concerning them is processed; if this is the case, they have the right to obtain information about such personal data and to obtain the information listed in detail in Art. 15 GDPR.
Data subjects have the right to obtain from the responsible party the rectification without undue delay of inaccurate personal data concerning them and, where applicable, the completion of their incomplete personal data (Art. 16 GDPR).
Data subjects have the right to request that the responsible party erase personal data concerning them without undue delay if one of the reasons listed in detail in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data is no longer needed for the purposes pursued (right to erasure).
Data subjects have the right to request that the responsible party restrict processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 DSGVO applies, e.g. if the data subject has objected to the processing, for the duration of the review by the responsible party.
Data subjects have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning them.
The responsible party shall then no longer process the personal data unless they can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which supersede the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or which are required for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims (Art. 21 GDPR).
Regardless of any other administrative or judicial remedy, data subjects have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority if they feel that the processing of personal data concerning them violates the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR).
Data subjects may exercise this right with regard to a supervisory authority in their Member State of residence, at their workplace, or at the site of the alleged violation.
