Phuong Linh Nguyen joined the KLU PhD program in 2025 under the primary supervision of Prof. Dr. Sandra Transchel. Her research focuses on blockchain applications in international supply chain management, particularly addressing opportunities and transition challenges for developing countries. Her doctoral project investigates Vietnam’s export sector as a case study to explore how blockchain can improve transparency, traceability, and cost-efficiency across global value chains.
Before joining KLU, Phuong Linh earned her Master’s degree in International Banking, Finance and Insurance from Nantes University (France), graduating with highest honors and ranking first in her cohort. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from Foreign Trade University, where she graduated with distinction and received multiple merit-based scholarships as a top 5% student. Earlier, she was granted the IPU Scholarship by International Pacific University, Japan, and earned recognition in national academic competitions during high school.
Professionally, Phuong Linh has worked in international trade promotion and sustainable value chain development, particularly within Vietnam’s handicraft and export sectors. Her academic interests include digital transformation, sustainable supply chains, and innovation in emerging markets.
