Dung Nguyen is a PhD candidate in the field of Operation Management & Logistics at Kühne Logistics University since September 2019. Her research focuses on Smart City Logistics for Retail under supervisions of Prof. Walid Klibi (KEDGE) and Prof. Jan Fransoo (KLU). In addition to being PhD student at KLU, she works simultaneously for Kedge Business School (Bordeaux, France) as research assistant where she conducts research and teaching activities.
Prior to joining the PhD program at the KLU she received her MSc in Management and Optimization of Supply Chain and Transport at IMT Atlantique (Institut Mines-Télécom) in France. Dung also conducted her research internship at Deparment of Automation, Production and Computer Sciences (DAPI) of this school, where her Master thesis dealt with Stochastic optimization of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) under lead time uncertainty. Dung holds a B.Arch from Hue College of Science in Vietnam.
Besides, Dung gained practical experiences in logistics during her internship in the garment and textile industry, and in project management while working for Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Vietnam.
