Abstract
My PhD research explores applications of process mining technology in the field of supply chain management. I am collaborating with Celonis, a leading developer of process mining software, and Freudenberg, a global manufacturing company providing data. My research plan is divided into three projects. First, I derive specific use cases for process mining in SCM through a literature review and expert interviews. Then, I dive into two selected use cases and investigate how process mining can be applied to real data of global supply chain operations to gain new insights beyond the current state of advanced analytics use in the SCM community.
